Highest earning cricketers in 2025, who is on top? Kohli-Rohit at which number?

The year 2025 was very good for cricket stars not only in terms of performance but also in terms of earnings. Along with hitting fours and sixes on the field, players earned record earnings through brand endorsements, IPL and BCCI contracts. The special thing was that the dominance of Indian players was clearly visible in the top list of highest earning cricketers.

Virat Kohli became the king of earning

The highest earning cricketer in 2025 was Virat Kohli. According to media reports, Virat’s annual income was between Rs 250 to 300 crore. This earning includes money received from Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, central contract of BCCI and brand endorsements of many big companies. Even at the age of 37, there has been no decline in Virat’s fitness and popularity, which is why his brand value remains at the top even today.

Rohit Sharma at number two

Indian captain Rohit Sharma stood second in this list. ‘Hitman’ earned around Rs 150 to 180 crore in 2025. A major part of Rohit’s income comes from IPL contract, BCCI salary and advertisements. His strong identity on and off the field kept him among the top players in terms of earnings.

Rishabh Pant and Bumrah also in the top

Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant was at number three, who earned around Rs 100 to 120 crore this year. After returning from injury, Pant’s popularity and brand value increased rapidly. Whereas, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remained at fourth position. His estimated earnings were between Rs 90 to 110 crore.

Great year for Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer

All-rounder Hardik Pandya has earned around Rs 80 to 100 crore in 2025. IPL and endorsements strengthened his income. Shreyas Iyer remained at sixth position, whose earnings were around Rs 70 to 85 crores.

Pat Cummins ahead among foreign players

The only foreign player in this list was Australian captain Pat Cummins. He earned around Rs 60 to 75 crores, which also includes the huge amount from IPL.

Jadeja is last in top 10
