India faces highhest road accidents globally: Road accidents have become a big subject in India, about which Union Minister Kiren Rijiju expressed serious concern. The Union Minister said that there are maximum road accidents in India in the world, which is a matter of concern for every citizen. Along with this, he said that it is mandatory to follow traffic rules to prevent these road accidents.
Earlier, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that about 4 lakh 80 thousand road accidents occur every year in India. Of these, 1.8 lakh people also die and not only that many lakh people are seriously injured. The most affected people are two -wheeler drivers and walking passengers.

Speaking to ANI, on Sunday (March 23), Kiren Rijiju said that the number of road accidents in India is the highest in the world, which is a matter of serious concern. Along with this, he appealed to the people to follow the traffic rules so that road accidents could be prevented. Kiren Rijiju also informed that PM Modi has emphasized the importance of awareness campaigns to prevent road accidents.
