Big news has come for lakhs of students studying in Himachal Pradesh. Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the complete schedule of annual examinations of class 10th and 12th. The examinations for the coming year i.e. 2026 will start from March 3 and the board will release the result by April 30.
When will the exams be held?
According to the announcement of the board, class 10th examinations will be conducted from March 3 to March 28, 2026, while class 12th examinations will be conducted from March 3 to April 1, 2026. The examinations of both the classes will be taken on the same schedule in the examination centers across the state.
After the examinations, collection of answer sheets will start from March 12. After this, the evaluation work will continue from April 2 to April 22. After this, the process of preparing the results will start from 23rd April and the results will be declared by 30th April.
10th class complete exam schedule
Class 10th board exams will start on March 3 with English paper. The next day on March 5, the music (vocal) exam will be taken. Hindi exam will be held on 6th March and Financial Literacy exam will be held on 7th March. Students will give Mathematics paper on 11th March, while Science and Technology exam will be held on 14th March.
Computer Science exam will be held on March 16 and Music (Instrumental) exam will be held on March 17. After this, examination of Home Science will be taken on 18th March and examination of Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Sanskrit and Punjabi languages will be taken on 20th March. On March 23, exams for Arts, Economics, Commerce, IT, Healthcare, Retail, Agriculture, Media, Hospitality, Tourism and many other professional subjects will be held. The last paper of the exam will be of Social Science on 28th March.
12th class exam schedule
Class 12th examinations will also start from March 3, there will be Sanskrit paper on the first day. English exam will be held on March 5 and Public Administration exam will be held on March 6. Economics exam will be taken on March 7 and Physics exam will be taken on March 9. The Sociology exam will be held on March 10 and the Fine Arts exam will be held on March 11.
Hindi and Urdu papers will be held on March 12, while Accountancy and Biology exams will be held on March 13. Psychology exam will be held on March 14 and French exam will be held on March 16. Political Science exam will be taken on March 17 and Philosophy exam will be taken on March 18. The mathematics paper will be held on March 19 and the dance paper will be held on March 20.
Chemistry and Business Studies exams will be held on March 23, followed by Home Science and Human Ecology exams on March 24. Geography exam will be held on 25th March and History exam will be held on 27th March. Financial literacy exam will be taken on March 28.
On March 30, there will be examinations for Computer Science, Physical Education, Yoga, IT, Automotive, Healthcare, Agriculture, Media, Retail and many other professional subjects. The final exam of class 12th will be held on 1st April for music subject.
