Himachal Pradesh Bus Fare: The Sasukkhu government, which is struggling with the financial crisis, has put a burden on the people of Himachal. It has been decided to increase the minimum fare in the cabinet meeting. In Himachal, now the minimum fare in buses has been increased from five rupees to ten rupees. This bus fare has been increased citing HRTC deficit.
At the same time, the Sukhu government has also decided to withdraw four projects from the country’s large power company Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN). The government has decided to take over the Sunni 382 MW, Dugar 500 MW, Luhri Stage A 210 MW and Dhauladhar 66 M
The Sukhu government has been continuously accused of ignoring the interests of Himachal in these projects. Apart from this, 180 MW Bairasol Chamba will withdraw the power project from NHPC on completion of 40 years. Which has been approved by the cabinet.
In this cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, it was decided to regularize the services of contract workers who have completed two years of continuous service by 31 March, 2025. For the acquisition of the Bairasuil project, approval was provided for the appointment of a administrator.
The meeting approved the establishment of a 50 -bed Critical Care Block (CCB) including necessary equipment at Primary Health Center Swhan (Regional Hospital Bilaspur) and a 50 -bed CCB with the necessary equipment at Rohru, a civil hospital in Shimla district.
The meeting also approved the establishment of district integrated public health laboratories at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Government Medical College Chamba and District Hospital Hamirpur, which is affiliated to Dr. Radha Krishnan Government Medical College Hamirpur. In this cabinet meeting, the purchase of equipment for the maternal and child hospital wing under construction was also approved at Kamla Nehru Hospital Shimla, Regional Hospital Una and Civil Hospital Sundernagar in Mandi district, so that smooth operation of these medical institutions can be ensured.
