Earlier there was a lot of freedom for women, she could wear clothes according to her, could come and go anywhere and even party. At that time, the world’s largest party was held in Iran.
It is something that Mohammad Raza Shah takes over the throne of Iran in 1941, he started the work of modernizing Iran. In 1971, he feasted on completion of 2,500 years of the Parsian Empire and the feast was so huge that it was held in the desert of Paracepolis, in which around 65 guests of the country attended.
Preparation for one year
Preparations were already started for organizing this grand party. The temporary city was built in the desert with the help of tents. In this, food was ordered from France. The party had 18 tonnes of food, 180 waiters and 25,000 liquor bottles, which were enjoyed by guests from many countries. According to reports, around $ 100 million was spent in organizing this party at that time. However, it is said that the people of Iran were not happy with this, because they felt that Shah did not pay attention to him and later the same anger further gave birth to Shah’s fall and the revolution of 1979 which established Islamic rule in Iran.
