On Holi in Haridwar, the atmosphere of Patanjali Yogpeeth was completely devotional and drenched in colors. Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev played Holi of flowers with his followers and spread happiness in the entire campus. Flowers were showered on the devotees from the stage, due to which the fragrance of colorful flowers spread all around.
Since morning, a crowd of people from different states of the country had started gathering. Devotees were seen dancing and dancing amid bhajan-kirtan and patriotic songs. The atmosphere was as if spirituality and celebration had come alive together.
‘The world should adopt yoga, not war’- Baba Ramdev
On the occasion of Holi, Baba Ramdev also spoke openly on the global situation. He said that at present the whole world is going through a critical period. Referring to the Russia-Ukraine war and the increasing tension between Israel, America and Iran, he said that the situation is worrying and all countries will have to show restraint to avoid a world war-like situation.
He clearly said that if the world is to be kept safe, concrete steps will have to be taken towards eliminating nuclear weapons. He said that war does not benefit anyone, whereas only yoga and peace can save humanity.
There is no difference of opinion in the country, unity is necessary
Expressing confidence in India’s foreign policy, Baba Ramdev said that this is not the time for political differences but for national unity. He appealed to avoid unnecessary criticism in the country’s affairs and support the efforts of the government.
He also said that creating division in the society in the name of caste, religion, language and region is fatal for the nation. There may be differences, but there should not be differences of opinion.
Message of safe Holi with natural colors
In the programme, Baba Ramdev appealed to everyone to celebrate safe and environment friendly Holi with natural colours. He described Holi as a symbol of love, harmony and victory of good over evil.
Amidst Holi of flowers, bhajan-kirtan and patriotic songs, the Patanjali campus was filled with enthusiasm and spiritual energy throughout the day. Happiness was clearly visible on the faces of the devotees and everyone wanted to make this special moment memorable.
