Union Home Minister Amit Shah mentioned Banaskantha in the ‘Cooperative-Dialogue’ program and said, ‘When I was born, the people of Banaskantha used to get water to bathe only once a week.’

He said that the people of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan may not have an idea, but Banaskantha and Kutch were among the highest water scarcity districts of Gujarat. Today, a family earns only one crore annually from milk production. This is a very big change.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, ‘I have decided that after retirement, I will dedicate my rest of my life to the study of Vedas, Upanishads and natural farming. Natural farming is a scientific experiment, which has many benefits. Many health problems often arise from wheat grown from chemical fertilizers. Natural farming not only helps in keeping the body disease free, but also increases agricultural productivity.

Amit Shah further said, ‘The Ministry of Cooperation is strengthening the country’s economy with the rural economy by strengthening farmers according to PM Modi’s vision of’ Sahakar with Sahakar ‘. In this dialogue, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also answered the questions of the people.

Amit Shah, while answering the question of a participant, said that we have identified about 25 small business models for Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS). All PACS should be worked towards making them rich by connecting them with various activities.
