Prepare Bhatura flour like this

To prepare Bhatura flour, first add wheat flour and semolina in a vessel and mix them. After this add salt, sugar and baking soda in it. Now add curd and a little oil and mix everything well. After this, knead a soft dough by adding some lukewarm water. Keep in mind that the dough should not be too hard. Because bhaturas open well with soft flour. Knead the dough well for about 5 to 7 minutes so that it becomes flexible. After this, after kneading the dough, apply some oil on its surface and cover it. Keep it in a warm place for at least 1 to 2 hours. During this time the dough gets fermented a little, due to which the Bhature becomes soft and puffy while frying.

How to fry Bhature

After the dough is firmed, mash it lightly and make small balls out of it. Now roll each ball to medium thickness with the help of a rolling pin. Try that the Bhatura is not too thin, only then it opens properly. Now put oil in the pan and heat it well. After the oil is hot, put the bhaturas one by one in the oil and press lightly. Due to this, Bhatura starts opening like a balloon in a few seconds. Fry it from both the sides till it becomes golden and then take it out. Hot Bhature can be served with chickpeas, pickles and onions.
