According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Housefull 5 has been given a U/A 16+ Certificate by CBFC i.e. Central Film Certification Berge. This means that people of all ages can enjoy this film of Akshay Kumar in theater.

CBFC has run scissors on some scenes and words of the film. These scenes and words that have been asked to change are these
- It has been asked to edit dialogs like ‘Nikla Duungi’ and ‘Apne’.
- Instructions have been given to replace words like ‘Item’ and ‘H *** M’ with other words.
- A dialogue has been ordered to be removed at 1 hour 53 minutes of duration.
- The film has three visual cuts
- According to the cut list, the scene with ‘Champagne Coming’ has been shortened.
- While two scenes with some hand gestures have been correctly modified.
- Apart from this, a scene with ‘Sensus Scene’ has been reduced by 2 seconds.
- Overall, the footage of 11 seconds has been deducted from the final cut.
- Only after these changes, Housefull 5 got a censor certificate from CBFC.
