Indian veteran player Ravichandnan Ashwin surprised everyone on Wednesday by retiring from the IPL. Ashwin posted this information by posting on social media. Ashwin made his IPL debut in the year 2009. At the same time, he played his last match this year. Ashwin has been seen in many interviews during a cricket career that he speaks very well. Ashwin has been very good in cricket as well as studies.

Ashwin did his early studies from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan. After this, he enrolled in St. Beids School for Higher Secondary Education. Later, he completed his Information Technology (B.Tech) from SSN College of Engineering, Chennai.

Recalling the journey of his studies, Ashwin said in an interview that he never found his studies too difficult. In childhood, he considered studies to be the thing to remove from the hobby of cricket. But as he reached the high school, he understood that he can manage both studies and cricket together. This balance improved both his studies and cricket.

Ashwin’s IPL career

Ashwin did his career as the 5th highest wicket -taking bowler in the IPL. Ashwin played for the IPL total of 5 teams. Ashwin was part of Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Rising Pune Supergiants, Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals. During this, Ashwin took 187 wickets after playing a total of 221 matches.

Ashwin has already retired from international cricket

Ashwin announced his retirement from international cricket in December last year. After this, he played in IPL 2025. Now Ashwin has also said goodbye to IPL career. Ashwin has indicated that he will now see playing in foreign leagues as well.
