ICC Rankings Rules: ICC player rankings are the table in which rank is given through points base system based on the performance of international cricketers. Cricket players are rated between 0 to 1000 points. If a player’s performance is better than last year, then the points of that player grow. On the other hand, if the player’s performance deteriorated compared to before, then the points are reduced.

How is the players ranked?

An algorithm is used to calculate the performance of a match of the cricketer, causing the player’s performance to calculate according to the situation of that match. In this algorithm, the player’s runs and wickets taken in that match are included. If the player has won his team in the difficult situation, then the value of his performance increases even more.

In this calculation process of ICC, no person can interfere nor is any player more important. The ICC keeps this ranking process completely fair. It is worth noting here that there are different factors to decide the ranking in Test cricket, ODI and T20. The ICC tells the position of players in the table through the ranking of the players and the ratings in the table show the points to the players.
