The results of voting on 243 seats for Bihar Assembly elections will be revealed by the evening of Friday (14 November). Counting of votes will begin at 8 am on Friday at 46 counting centers in the state. This time there was a record 67.13 percent voting in Bihar assembly elections, which is the highest percentage since 1951. 2615 candidates are in the fray in Bihar elections.
The main contest in Bihar Assembly elections is being seen between NDA and Grand Alliance. If we look at the candidates of both the alliances, then in NDA, JDU (JDU) 101, BJP (BJP) 101, LJP Ram Vilas Paswan (LJP (RV)) 28, RLM (RLM) 6 and HAM (HAM) 6 candidates are in the fray. The number of women candidates in NDA is 34.
If we look at the candidates of the Grand Alliance in this election, the maximum number of candidates are from RJD, in which RJD has fielded its candidates on 143 seats. There are 61 candidates from Congress, 20 from CPI (ML), 12 from Mukesh Sahni’s VIP, 9 from CPI, 4 from CPM and 3 from IIP. The number of women candidates in the Grand Alliance is 31.
Along with this, 238 candidates of Prashant Kishor’s party Jansuraj are in the fray in Bihar elections. Apart from this, other parties are also in this election, in which Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has 83 candidates, BSP (BSP) has 181 candidates and the number of independent candidates is 926.
