If we look at the number of CBSE schools in the countries of the Middle East, the highest number of schools are in UAE, where a total of 106 CBSE schools are operating. After this there are 37 schools in Saudi Arabia. There are 26 CBSE schools in Kuwait, 21 in Oman and 19 in Qatar. Whereas in Bahrain, a total of 8 schools are affiliated to CBSE board.

According to reports, education in these schools of the Middle East is exactly like India. Here teaching is done from NCERT books. Examinations are also conducted as per CBSE rules. Many schools have modern facilities, smart classes and good libraries. Sports and cultural programs also take place regularly.
exams postponed
In an official circular issued by CBSE, it has been said that the examinations scheduled for March 2, 2026 in some countries of the Middle East have been postponed for the time being. The countries where this decision will be implemented include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. The board has clarified that this step has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the current situation in these countries. However, the examinations have not been cancelled, but only postponed.
