Medical courses have the most popularity among Indian students in Pakistan. The medical colleges and universities there offer courses like MBBS, BDS and Pharmacy, in which Indian students take admission. Apart from this, some students also enroll in subjects related to humanities, Islamic studies and language. However, Indian students usually give priority to western countries or India’s institutions for technical and engineering courses.

However, Indian students studying in Pakistan have to face many challenges. The biggest problem is visa and security. Indian students have to take special permission to go to Pakistan, which is not easy for everyone. Apart from this, the environment and sensitivity of relationships there also creates additional pressure for students. According to media reports, in 2024, around 13 lakh students worldwide are from India. In which about 13 students have gone to Pakistan.
