Protein needed for the elderly

To keep the elderly healthy and avoid diseases, the amount of protein in their body should be more than that of a young person. According to doctors, if the age of an elderly person is more than 60 years, whether he is a man or a woman, then he needs 1.0 to 1.2 grams of protein for every kilogram of his body weight.

The protein requirement of children is different according to each age. According to doctors, if a child is between 1 year to 3 years of age, he needs 13 grams of protein. If the child is 4 to 8 years old, he needs 19 grams of protein. At the same time, when a child reaches adolescence, he needs about 52 grams of protein.
