Advantage of 8th Pay Commission?
NSE is a private institution, so its chairman is given a corporate salary package instead of the pay scale fixed as the government. According to reports, the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) gives the best salary package to its employees. The highest salary post here is the Vice President, whose annual income is between about 67.5 rupees and 1.2 crore.
The top 10% of the employees of the company earn more than 25.8 lakhs annually, while the top 1% of the employees earning goes above 74.9 lakhs. Since Injeti Srinivas has been a former IAS officer, he is already getting pension and other facilities related to government service. The salary package of NSE will be different and extra.
Actually, the 8th Pay Commission will only apply to employees and officers who are currently in government service. Srinivas has retired from IAS, he will not get the benefit of this in salary. However, their pension may be affected.
