The National Highway Authority is going to start Fastag Annual Pass from August 15, especially for private vehicle owners who travel on the national highway. The price of this pass is 3000 rupees and under this you will get 200 toll free trips or 1 year validity.
What is Fastag Annual Pass
Annual pass is for private vehicles that will not be connected to any business. The information of which will be verified from the Vahan database. It will be linked to your existing fastag and it will be applicable only on the National Highway and National Expressway. State Highway Municipal Road or Parking will only be charged normal fastag charge.
How will there be recharge
To recharge the fastag annual pass, first of all make sure that your fastag is active and linked to the registration number of the vehicle.
Now after August 15, go to the highway travel app or NHAI/MORTH website.
After this, fill the fastag ID and details of the vehicle.
Now pay 3000 rupees online.
Within 2 hours of payment, you will be active and you will get confirmation through SMS.
What will be extra fees
For this annual pass, only 3000 rupees will have to be paid. There will be no additional fee in a period of 1 year or until 200 trips are completed. After the duration or trip is over, the pass will automatically turn into a normal fastag mode and to get the benefit again, you will have to take a new pass by paying Rs 3000.

Also, the wait on the toll will have to be reduced and there will be no dispute about payment. At the same time, you will also be able to travel toll free within the limit fixed for one year.
