The Himachal Pradesh government has recently taken an important spread in the field of education. The government has announced the implementation of CBSE courses in 100 senior secondary schools of the state from the next academic session.

The scheme focuses on connecting at least one government school to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in each assembly constituency. The government says that the purpose of this step is to provide better quality education to the students and prepare them for national level competition.

What will be the change with CBSE course?

According to officials, this initiative will give not only students, but also to connect teachers with modern teaching practices and standards of national level examinations. Competition in national level examinations after class 10th and 12th under CBSE syllabus will be easier.

New avenues will be opened for higher education and professional career and teachers will also be able to enhance their skills through new curriculum and training. The government believes that this will strengthen the educational competitiveness of the youth of Himachal and will help them face changing challenges over time.

The Education Department believes that this change will reduce the gap between rural and urban students and will bring Himachal’s education system to a new height.
