On one hand, there is a war going on between Iran-America-Israel and on the other hand, due to this, the supply of LPG and natural gas in the country is being greatly affected. Although the Petroleum Ministry is claiming that there is stock of LPG, a picture of severe shortage of gas has emerged in Bihar. The matter is of Kaimur in Bihar. Here people have to buy cylinders in black.
On Tuesday (March 10, 2026), people reached a gas agency in Kaimur and expressed their problems. It was also told how the cylinder is available in black for Rs 1800 to Rs 2000. Many people even said that there is no gas at their place due to which even food is not being cooked.
‘Coming every day…and going’
A consumer who reached a gas agency in Kaimur said, “We came on Sunday, yesterday also on Monday, and have come even today. Here we are being called every day for gas, but gas is not being supplied. Every day people are coming and going. Here, gas worth Rs 1800-2000 is being sold in black in the market. Also called the AGM.
Kaimur, Bihar: Severe gas shortage in Mura has led to long queues since morning, with many returning empty-handed for three days. Cylinders are being sold at ₹2,000 in the market, leaving households, including hungry children, without cooking fuel.

Gave warning of blocking GT Road
Another consumer said that we have been standing since morning. The man has been coming and going for three days. Didn’t get it even on Monday. Not found even today. Where will a man get Rs 1800-2000? The number of the gas agency owner is switched off. The lock is closed. There is no one to answer. Now what will happen is that the empty cylinder will pick up from here and GT Road will be jammed. The owners came and provided gas to every home. Food has not been cooked for two days. Said that if someone has a permanent house then he will not cook on wood. Another person said, “We came around 7.30 in the morning. There is no gas… we are helpless on gas. Where should we go to get gas in 2000?”
