The police have finally arrested the accused husband who made a video of private moments with his wife and made it viral on social media in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. A case was registered in the same police station on the complaint of the victim. The accused was absconding for a long time, but the police caught him from Rewa. After medical examination, he was produced in the court, from where he has been sent to judicial custody.
Police investigation has revealed that the accused had recorded an obscene video of 13 minutes 14 seconds without the knowledge of his wife. The incident is being told of December 12, 2025.
After the video was uploaded on social media, it quickly went viral. The victim had no idea that her private moments would be misused in this way.
Investigation has also revealed that the accused was addicted to watching porn sites for a long time. Inspired by the characters seen there, he wanted to create a similar identity for himself. It was in this frenzy that he took this step. When the video went viral, calls started coming from relatives and acquaintances. Only then did the victim come to know about the entire matter.
The accused confessed to the crime, did not show remorse
When the victim questioned the accused, he admitted that he had uploaded the video. The surprising thing was that the accused did not show any remorse. He said that he wanted to be popular and come into the public eye.
The marriage which took place only 7 months ago is on the verge of breaking after this incident. The victim says that the accused crushed both her respect and trust. Now she wants justice.
Threatened to kill after reaching in-laws house
After the case was registered, the accused absconded. During his absconding, on 12 February 2026, he reached his in-laws’ house with a sharp weapon and threatened to kill the family. The family members immediately informed the local police. The police reached the spot and caught the accused and handed him over to the same police station.
The victim said- ruined my life
The victim said that it had been 3 days since the FIR was lodged but initially no concrete action was taken. The accused had told her, “You are my wife, can’t you do even this much?”
The victim alleges that the accused even sent the video to relatives and friends. Calls are coming from everywhere and she is nowhere left to show her face. He has called the accused a brute and has demanded strict punishment.
City Superintendent of Police Rajeev Pathak said that the accused husband had made an intimate video of his wife and made it viral and was absconding. Police have arrested him from Rewa.
A case has been registered against the accused under other serious sections including the IT Act. At present, the police is investigating the entire matter in depth and is talking about providing justice to the victim.
