Hyderabad I Love Muhammad Poster: ‘I Love Muhammad’ posters put up in Hyderabad, use of abusive language against CM Yogi, said- ‘Will have to leave the chair and run away’


The tension that arose amid the ‘I Love Muhammad’ campaign in Uttar Pradesh has now spread to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. In Chandrayangutta area, a youth directly challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath by putting up ‘I Love Muhammad’ poster. In the video, the youth said that if you have the courage to remove it, then come and remove it, but for this you will have to pass through the dead bodies first. This video has gone viral on social media, raising questions on communal harmony.

Chandrayangutta, a sensitive Muslim-dominated area in Hyderabad’s old city, said young local resident Mohammad Salim (fictitious name, inspired by the video) said the move was in response to the ongoing controversy in UP. The youth who put up the poster in the viral video said, “Today the entire social media was shaken. If we come to the ground, we will shake the entire earth.”

Use of abusive language against CM Yogi
The young man further said, “You can play in UP, you cannot do it here, if you do this here then you will have to leave your chair and run away.” On the other hand, the young man said, “Brother, you can say anything to us, but when it comes to Namus-e-Risalat, you will have to leave your chair and run away.”

The controversy started from Bareilly, UP
This controversy originally started from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where after Friday prayers on 26 September, people of Muslim community demonstrated with ‘I Love Muhammad’ posters in honor of Prophet Muhammad. During this period, 68 people were arrested in the police action, which included local Maulvi Taukir Raza Khan. There is local police alert after this incident in Hyderabad.
