The horrific car blast that took place near Red Fort metro station in Delhi has shaken the entire country. As the investigation is progressing, many shocking updates have come to light in this case, from the purchase and sale of i20 car to the terrorist module related to Pulwama, the arrest of 6 doctors and now the formal entry of NIA. On the other hand, the Union Home Minister has held an important review meeting with senior officials.
Home Minister held second meeting with officials
After the first meeting on Tuesday morning, Amit Shah held an important meeting with senior officials in the evening. After the meeting, Shah said that he held a review meeting of the Delhi car blast with senior officials and directed all the officials to arrest every culprit behind this incident. He clarified, everyone involved in this incident will face our agencies.
12 killed, 20 injured in blast
On Monday (November 10, 2025) at 6:52 pm, 12 people died and 20 were injured in an explosion in a white Hyundai i20 car. Delhi Police has registered a case in this matter under strict sections of UAPA. NSG and FSL teams have collected forensic evidence from the spot.
The story of the i-20 car used in the blast is long.
The car used in the blast was purchased from Royal Car Zone located in Sector 32, Faridabad. ABP News investigation revealed that car seller Amit Patel’s phone was switched off after the incident. Liquor bottles and decks of cards were also found in the office of the shop. A new CCTV footage related to the car has also surfaced, in which Umar is seen getting the pollution certificate of the car made. This video is said to be from 29th October.
Car timeline: Entry from Badarpur toll in the morning, explosion in the evening
On November 10, the car entered Delhi at 8:04 am, refueled at Okhla, and entered the Red Fort parking lot in the afternoon. At 6:45 pm it came out of the parking lot, took a U-turn near Old Delhi Railway Station and at 6:52 pm there was an explosion at the signal near Red Fort metro station. It is being told that there were three people in the car and all of them died instantly.

The blast seems to be linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) module, which was recently caught in Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana. About 2999 kg of explosives, AK-47 and other weapons were found in the raids related to this module.
Arrest or detention of 6 doctors
So far, action has been taken against 6 doctors in the investigation. Among those on whom action has been taken, Dr. Omar Ul Nabi Dar, Dr. Adil, Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, Dr. Shaheen Shahid have been arrested, while Dr. Sajjad Ahmed Mala has been detained from Pulwama. He is said to be a close friend of Dr. Omar.
Entry of NIA- Home Ministry handed over the responsibility of investigation
Union Home Ministry Delhi blast The investigation of the case has been handed over to NIA. NIA will now formally take over the case from Delhi Police and investigate in detail the items used in the blast, the conspiracy and possible terrorist connections. Earlier, NSG’s post-blast investigation team and forensic experts had collected important evidence from the incident site.
