Amidst Bihar Assembly elections, a big uproar has arisen regarding ticket distribution in RJD. There was chaos outside the Circular Road residence of Lalu Prasad Yadav in Patna when RJD leader Madan Shah, who was contending for the ticket from Madhuban assembly seat, suddenly reached there and started protesting strongly against the party.
Madan Shah tore his kurta right in front of the main entrance of the residence and lying on the ground started crying loudly. The people present at the spot recorded this entire incident on their mobiles, which is now going viral on social media.

RJD gave ticket to BJP agent- Madan Shah
Madan Shah, crying bitterly, told ANI that he was asked for money in exchange for the party ticket. He alleges that when he refused to pay the money, the party canceled his ticket and gave it to Dr. Santosh Kushwaha in exchange for money. He said that I even sold my land, but I did not get the ticket. The party gave the ticket to the BJP agent.
Lalu and Tejashwi accused of breaking their promise
Madan Shah said that in the 2020 elections, Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav themselves had assured him of giving him ticket from Madhuban. Lalu ji had called me to Ranchi and said that I will defeat Randhir Singh. I also conducted a survey of the population of Teli community. But this time when it came to the ticket, he gave preference to those with money.
He also made serious allegations against the party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Yadav. Madan Shah said that Sanjay Yadav is a ticket broker, the work of selling tickets has been done. The workers who have been working hard for the party since the 90s have now been sidelined.
Ruckus outside Lalu’s residence, security personnel active
During the incident, there was chaos outside Lalu-Rabri residence. The security personnel removed Madan Shah from there and calmed the atmosphere. Till now there has been no official response from RJD.
Struggle continues in the alliance too
On the other hand, differences continue within the Grand Alliance in Bihar regarding seat sharing. There is no agreement between RJD and Congress on many seats, while there is a situation of conflict with the VIP party also. In such a situation, there is a possibility of deepening the dissatisfaction within the party due to Madan Shah’s rebellion.
