The demise of actor and comedian Satish Shah is a deep shock for the Indian entertainment world. The news of his demise has plunged the entire film and TV industry into mourning. Hurt by the demise of Satish Shah, actor Rakesh Bedi has expressed his pain by posting on social media on Wednesday.
Rakesh Bedi remembered Satish Shah
While sharing the post, actor Rakesh Bedi said that he misses his friend a lot. Sharing an old picture of himself taken with Satish Shah on the social media platform Instagram, Rakesh Bedi wrote in the caption, “How much I miss you, friend. You have settled in me.”
Actor Satish Shah died on October 25 at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. He breathed his last at the age of 74.
Shah and Bedi’s friendship
Rakesh Bedi had recently expressed his grief by making several posts. Talking about the friendship between Shah and Bedi, both of them met in the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Rakesh Bedi and Satish Shah worked together in many projects. ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ was his iconic show on TV, where Rakesh Raja and Satish Bahurupiya. Both of them spread laughter together in many films and shows.
The audience was thoroughly entertained
Satish Shah made the audience laugh for more than five decades. He worked in many films. Especially, he is recognized in millions of homes for his role of Indravadan Sarabhai in ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’. He received ITA and Telly Awards for ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ on TV. He was also a judge of ‘Comedy Circus’.
His characters in blockbusters like ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Main Hoon Na’ are still remembered. The last rites of Satish Shah took place on 26 October at Pawan Hans crematorium. The prayer meeting was organized on 27 October at Jalaram Hall in Juhu.
