Congress MP Shashi Tharoor was extremely impressed after seeing the cultural development of Bihar. He praised Nalanda University. Also praised some other historical places of Bihar. He had come here to participate in the Nalanda Literature Festival. During this, he said that his old beliefs about Bihar have now completely changed.
He appreciated the modern infrastructure and historical heritage. After his statement, political speculations and talk of praising the NDA government started. Now he has given clarification on this entire matter. He has said that I have neither mentioned BJP nor mentioned any CM.
Spent 2.5 hours at the Bihar Museum in Patna yesterday and it wasn’t nearly enough! The Museum is a world-class gem — the seamless blend of modern architecture and ancient treasures is stunning. I spent over two hours wandering through the Mauryan, Gupta, and Pala dynasty… pic.twitter.com/gDTYpmOU6W

What did Shashi Tharoor say in clarification?
He has posted on social media giving his clarification on this entire political controversy. He said, ‘I neither mentioned BJP nor took the name of any CM or leader. I praised Nalanda University and the two museums I visited. These include Bapu Tower and Bihar Museum. I appealed to Indians to visit these wonderful places and said that the roads and facilities in these areas are good. Why create political controversies over such common matters which have nothing to do with politics?

Apart from this, he also posted on social media about the museum. In this he said that he spent 2.5 hours in Bihar Museum, Patna. This was not enough at all. This museum is world class. The unique combination of modern architecture and old things is wonderful. I spent more than two hours wandering through the collections of the Maurya, Gupta and Pala dynasties. I still feel like I missed a lot. It also has a children’s gallery and courtyard spaces.
