While talking to ABP News, Aastha Singh claimed that the video is of January 6, 2026, and now it has been made viral by a deliberate conspiracy. Aastha Singh clarified that the person seen in the video was not a customer, but the husband of her colleague Ritu Tripathi. Ritu Tripathi had left her job that day to seek relief and she wanted relief on the same day, which was done by evening. Aastha’s sister-in-law came to the bank in the afternoon and remained sitting since morning. There was a hot talk between Aastha and her sister-in-law in the afternoon. When sister-in-law’s brother (Ritu Tripathi’s husband) came in the evening, he talked about ‘cooling down the heat’, which made Aastha angry. This reaction caused complete controversy.
Apologized for wrong words
HDFC employee Aastha further said that I am proud to be a Thakur. If someone provokes and asks my caste, I will tell my caste with full pride. But I used wrong words, I apologize for that. She said she knew professional boundaries, but when she was threatened and questioned on her caste, she was enraged.
