A big news has come for the youth who dream of a career in the Indian Air Force. The provisional selection list of Agniveer Air Recruitment 01/2026 has been released. This list is for all the candidates who applied from both Science and Non-Science streams. After a long wait, this update from the Air Force has brought a wave of happiness among thousands of candidates.
Now all the candidates can easily check their selection results by visiting the official portal agnipathvayu.cdac.in. This list is available in the Candidates tab of the portal and contains the names of all the candidates selected for the next stages of recruitment.
What happens in the recruitment process?
Agniveer Vayu recruitment process is completed in several stages and in each stage, different examinations of the candidates are taken. The selection process is completely transparent and its objective is to include the best youth in the Air Force.
In this recruitment, candidates have to go through these stages. It consists of written examination, physical efficiency test (PFT), document verification, medical test.
What is the physical examination like?
- The fitness of the candidates is tested in the physical test.
- Male Candidates: 1.6 km race has to be completed in 7 minutes.
- Female candidates: 1.6 km race has to be completed in 8 minutes.

The written examination is different for both science and non-science streams.
For Science stream candidates, Physics, Mathematics and English are asked in the exam and the total time is 60 minutes. For candidates with non-science subjects, the exam is based on English, Logic and General Knowledge and the total time given is 45 minutes. A total of 85 minutes of evaluation is conducted based on the entire process, which assesses the candidate’s academic ability, reasoning power and general knowledge.

- First of all go to the official portal agnipathvayu.cdac.in/AV/.
- Click on the ‘Candidates’ tab on the homepage.
- Here select ‘Agniveer Vayu 01/2026’ and your category (Science/Non-Science).
- Now enter your application number, date of birth and captcha code.
- After this your result will appear on the screen, which you can also download.
