Ankita Chaudhary, a resident of Meham, a small town in Rohtak district of Haryana, has become an inspiration for millions of youth today. His story is proof that if you have strong will and self-confidence, no difficulty can stop you. Ankita, who once struggled with failure and personal sorrows, changed her destiny with hard work and courage and achieved brilliant success in the UPSC exam.

Ankita was smart in studies from the beginning. He graduated in Chemistry from the famous Hindu College of Delhi University. Since his college days, his dream was to join civil services and do something big for the country. As soon as he completed his studies, he started preparing for UPSC. But this path was not easy for him.

When did you take the exam for the first time?

When he appeared for the UPSC exam for the first time in 2017, he faced failure. His mother also died in the same year. This was the most difficult period of his life. The grief of failure and mother’s departure was so deep that it seemed as if everything had fallen apart. But at this time his father took care of him and said that now you have to fulfill your mother’s dream. These words proved to be the turning point in Ankita’s life.

With the courage and support of her father, Ankita managed herself again. She did not give up and started preparing once again. He learned from his mistakes, changed his strategy and worked hard with all his heart. In 2018, he took the UPSC exam again, and this time the result changed completely.

Ankita achieved 14th rank at All India level in the second attempt. This was not just success in an examination, but a victory of one’s struggle, courage and dedication. When the news of his success reached the village and family, everyone’s eyes were filled with pride and happiness. Ankita told that her success is dedicated to her mother, whose dreams she made come true.

This was an optional subject

His optional subject was ‘Public Administration’, which gave him an understanding of the administrative system and change in society. His achievement became an example for every youth who does not want to give up his dreams even in difficult circumstances.

Ankita’s life changed completely after becoming an IAS officer. He got a government house, car, driver and many other facilities. But for him, real happiness was not in these things, but in improving the lives of people. As an officer, he made public service his goal and started working honestly.
