In the Champions Trophy , Shreyas Iyer was the highest run -scorer scoring 243 runs and played a key role in India’s victory. Winning this award of Iyer means that India has won this award twice in a row. Shubman Gill won this award for the month of February. This has just happened for the second time in history when 2 consecutive Indian players have won this award.

Georgia Vol became the ICC Women’s Player of the Month
Georgia Wol, who made his international debut in international cricket in December last year, won the ICC Women Player Award for March 2025. Vol has surpassed Chetna Prasad of Hammavatan Senior Annabel Sutherland and USA. The 21-year-old Vol played a key role in Australia’s 3–0 win over White Ferns in March. Wole helped the team by giving a confident start with experienced Bath Muni at the other end and finished second after her opening partner in terms of scoring runs (161 runs).
