ICC Team Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the team rankings, in which different pictures are seen in the three formats Test, ODI and T20. Australia has maintained its supremacy in Test cricket, while India’s dominance is clearly visible in limited overs cricket.
Who is on top in test ranking
Australia is at first place in the latest ICC rankings for Test cricket. Australia has scored 3732 points in 30 test matches and its rating is 124. Australia has maintained this position on the basis of strong fast bowling and experienced batting.
South Africa is at second place, which has scored 3581 points and a rating of 116 in 31 matches. England is in third place with 4469 points in 40 matches. Whereas India is at fourth position with 4064 points and rating of 104 in 39 matches. New Zealand is at fifth position with 2839 points in 29 matches.
India’s dominance in ODI ranking
India remains at first position in ODI cricket. India has scored 5089 points in 42 matches and its rating is 121. Consistent good performance and balanced team combination has been India’s biggest strength.
New Zealand is in second place with 4956 points and rating of 113 in 44 matches. Australia is at third position with 4134 points in 38 matches. Pakistan is at fourth position with 4294 points from 41 matches, while Sri Lanka is at fifth position with 4392 points from 44 matches.
Who won the T20 rankings?
India also remains number-1 in T20 International ranking. India has scored 19312 points in 71 matches and its rating is 272. The team has benefited from aggressive batting and excellent performance of young players.
Australia is in second place with 11199 points and rating of 267 in 42 matches. England is at third position with 11609 points in 45 matches. New Zealand is at fourth position and South Africa is at fifth position.
