ICC’s new schedule affected India’s matches, know when and where the matches will be played in ODI World Cup?

ODI World Cup 2025 Team India Schedule: The ICC Women’s ODI World Cup will start from 30 September and its final match will be played on 2 November. But after the release of the World Cup schedule, the ICC has made a special change in it. The matches to be held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will be held at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. The Karnataka government has stopped organizing the World Cup at the Chinnaswamy Stadium after the Bengaluru stampede case. This change has affected India’s two matches, which has changed the schedule.

Changes in Team India’s World Cup schedule

After releasing the new schedule of the ICC, the date of these two matches of Team India has not changed, but the place has changed. There will be 7 matches in India’s league stage.

  • First- 30 September: India vs Sri Lanka, Guwahati
  • Second- October 5: India vs Pakistan, Colombo
  • Third- October 9: India vs South Africa, Visakhapatnam
  • Fourth- October 12: India vs Australia, Visakhapatnam
  • Fifth- 19 October: India vs England, Indore
  • Sixth- 23 October: India vs New Zealand, Navi Mumbai
  • Seventh- 26 October: India vs Bangladesh, Navi Mumbai

Changes in knock out match schedule also

The first semi -final of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup will be played on October 29 in Guwahati or Colombo. The second semi -final was to be held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium first, but that too will be held at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. At the same time, the final of this World Cup will also be played in one of the Navi Mumbai or Colombo.

If Pakistan’s team manages to reach the semi -finals, then a knockout match will be held in Colombo. On the other hand, if the Pakistan team wins the semi -finals and enters the finals, then the final of the World Cup will be played in Sri Lanka’s capital Colombo. India is hosting this World Cup, but all the matches in Pakistan have been kept in Colombo.
