‘If anyone wants to come…’, BJP state president said on the demand of ban on entry of non-Hindus in Har Ki Pauri

Now the statement of Uttarakhand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Mahendra Bhatt on this issue has come to light.

On the demand of ban on the entry of non-Hindus in Har Ki Pauri, Uttarakhand BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt has given his stand and said that there are some places which have a significance of their sanctity. He said that for the first time there are no rules, first there are rules.

Congress is doing politics of appeasement- Mahendra Bhatt

Uttarakhand BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt said in his statement that, I do not think that any person from other religion will take bath in Ganga water. Congress is doing appeasement politics by making it an issue. It was also said that, if Ganga Sabha or other religious leaders are saying this then it is their understanding even without saying it.

‘If a Muslim wants to join Sanatan Dharma then there should be no opposition’

At the end of his statement he also said that no Hindu can go to Mecca and Medina because entry is prohibited. He said that it would be nice if a Muslim, after taking bath in Ganga, says that he wants to come to Sanatan. So no one should oppose.

What is the whole controversy

Actually, recently a video of the famous Har Ki Pauri of Haridwar had surfaced in which two youths were roaming in Har Ki Pauri in the costumes of Sheikh. Since this matter came to light, saints and religious leaders had opposed it. He also demanded a ban on the entry of non-Hindus into Har Ki Pauri.
