Political turmoil continues regarding SIR. Other opposition parties including Congress are continuously alleging scams in SIR. Meanwhile, Jharkhand minister and Congress leader Irfan Ansari has given such a statement, which has created an uproar in politics. While giving a controversial statement, Irfan Ansari has appealed to the public that if BLO comes to your house, then stop it.
While talking to the public, Irfan Ansari has even claimed that the BLO is coming to your homes to remove your name from the voter list. He further said, “When he comes, lock him in the house and call me. Open the lock only after I come.”
‘After closing the BLO, call me, I will open the lock’
Not only this, Irfan Ansari says, “If someone is deducting your vote, deducting your name from the voter list, deducting your name from the Aadhaar card, then your bank account will be closed.” Referring to Bihar, the Jharkhand minister said, “There the names of 65 lakh people were struck off. Their identity was snatched away. I want to tell you all, if someone comes to strike off your name, then stop it and call me.”
Addressing the public, Irfan Ansari said, “These people have snatched your identity. They have made you an infiltrator. You will not get any rights in the society. Now SIR is being implemented in Bengal, then it will be implemented in Jharkhand. Do not let the BLO deduct your name at any cost.”
BJP angry over Irfan Ansari’s statement
BJP leaders are furious over this inflammatory statement of Irfan Ansari, minister in Hemant Soren government. BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev said, “The minister has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution and the law and when he speaks against constitutional rules like this, he should be fired from the job.”
