‘If he stands somewhere, he will get 25-30 lakhs’, nephew reacts to the news of Govinda going bankrupt

Govinda, who is called Bollywood’s hero number one, is in the limelight these days. The actor’s wife Sunita Ahuja made many allegations against him recently. Meanwhile, news came about the actor that he has gone bankrupt. Because recently a video of his had gone viral in which the actor was seen dancing in a school.

Seeing his viral video, people started speculating that Govinda is now bankrupt. Now his nephew Vijay Anand has spoken openly on this entire matter in a podcast. Describing such news as mere rumours, he asked where such things spread from.

Used to charge crores for a film

Talking on this issue, Vinay Anand said, ‘He is a superstar. Even today, wherever Govinda stands, he will easily get Rs 25 to 30 lakh. Those people whom they are calling poor…are idiots. People are writing that Govinda came on the road. This happened with Govinda. Hey fools, where are you, for whom are you talking nonsense? He is a superstar of the 90s who used to charge crores for a film.

Vinay further said, ‘When flats were available in Lokhandwala for Rs 12 to 13 lakhs, he used to charge Rs 1 crore for his films. Then how can anyone say that he has come on the streets. After doing 70-80 films, hardly anyone would have earned as much as Govinda earned in 5 films and I don’t know how many such stars would be roaming around who would not have money. How can you say such stupid things about such a big legend. I feel very strange.

Expressing disappointment over such things, Vinay said, ‘It is surprising to see what kind of people there are in our country. The kind of story the media is writing is also a publicity. Whenever I open social media, only Govinda ji is visible. What a stardom man.
