America is repeatedly warning Iran of military action. Meanwhile, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu is preparing to visit Washington, due to which concerns are increasing regarding the direction of US-Iran talks and military tension. Israeli defense officials have warned that Tehran’s expanding ballistic missile program could pose a threat to our existence. Israel has warned US President Donald Trump that if Iran crosses the ballistic missile red line set by it, then it can take military action against Tehran alone even without America.
Israel will protect freedom of action
According to the report of Jerusalem Post, Israel said that at present Iran has not reached that limit, but its officials are keeping a close watch on Tehran’s activities. Israel has bluntly said that it will protect its freedom of action and will not under any circumstances allow Iran to re-produce such weapons, which can become a threat to Israel and its neighboring countries.
Trump can take limited action on Iran: Israel
Several Israeli defense officials have expressed concern that US President Donald Trump could opt for limited military action, as he did against the Houthis in Yemen, but that would leave Iran’s core missile capabilities intact. Another official said, ‘The matter of concern is that America can successfully announce an attack by targeting some targets. With this, Iran’s main military capabilities may remain safe and Israel may have to suffer the consequences.
The future commander of the Israeli Air Force, Brigadier General Omer Tishler can also visit America along with Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday (11 February 2026). General Omer Tischler will represent IDF chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir there. This visit of Netanyahu is taking place amid the US-Iran talks that started in Oman last week.
Iran refuses to discuss ballistic missile
According to a statement by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Tehran has refused to discuss ballistic missiles, regional proxy groups or internal repression during the talks. Tehran has rejected demands to shut down its nuclear project or permanently give up the ability to conduct nuclear explosions. Amidst the increasing tension and talks with America, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made a special appeal to the Iranians.
Khamenei’s appeal to the people of Iran
In an address broadcast on state television, Khamenei said national power depends more on determination and a strong response rather than military hardware such as missiles and aircraft. His comments come as Iran is preparing to organize rallies across the country on Wednesday to celebrate the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Khamenei said, ‘Until the enemy is defeated, a nation becomes a victim of oppression. Xinhua News Agency quoted the Iranian Supreme Leader as saying that the enemy will have to be disappointed.
