BSP President Mayawati has once again given a big statement in the politics of Uttar Pradesh and has appealed to the Muslim community to support BSP instead of SP and Congress. He said that if the Muslim community wants to defeat the deadly politics of BJP, then it should unite and vote in favor of BSP.

Mayawati presided over a special meeting of BSP ‘Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sangathan’ in Lucknow on Wednesday (29 October). In this meeting, he gave directions to connect the Muslim community with BSP and increase the support base of the party. He said that Samajwadi Party and Congress have been getting the support of Muslim community for a long time, but both the parties have failed to defeat BJP.

If we get the support of Muslim community, we will form the government again – Mayawati

Mayawati said that from the 2022 assembly elections till now, it is clear that the Muslim community supported SP with body, mind and money, but BJP returned to power. On the contrary, even when BSP had limited support from the Muslim community, we were successful in forming a majority government in 2007.

SP and Congress have always been anti-Dalit

The former Chief Minister alleged that both SP and Congress have historically been doing ‘anti-Dalit, anti-backward and anti-Muslim’ politics. He said that the wrong policies and opportunistic politics of these parties strengthened BJP in Uttar Pradesh. SP and Congress always adopted every possible trick to weaken BSP, but made no concrete efforts to stop BJP.

Our government has always helped the Muslim community – Mayawati

Recalling her tenure as Chief Minister, Mayawati said that the BSP government gave security, respect and representation to Muslims. Our government protected the life, property and faith of the Muslim community. We strictly curbed riots and communalism and freed Uttar Pradesh from fear and anarchy.

He said that the mission of BSP is not just to gain power but to provide a dignified life to Dalits, backward classes, tribals, Muslims and other deprived sections through political empowerment.

These BSP officials were present in the organization meeting

The state president of the party, divisional in-charge and all the district heads were also present in the meeting of ‘Muslim Samaj Bhaichara Sangathan’. Mayawati gave instructions to the leaders regarding the revision of the voter list at the booth level and said that no eligible voter should be left out of the list.

This statement of Mayawati is being considered as a new challenge for the SP-Congress alliance, because BSP is working on a strategy to make a big dent in Muslim votes in the upcoming elections.
