Afghanistan’s Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani has once again warned Pakistan on Monday (3 November 2025). He also said that Afghanistan still needs more weapons. Without naming any country, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani said that some countries violate the territory of other countries to protect their interests.
Afghanistan’s warning to Pakistan
Warning Pakistan, Haqqani said that if the patience and tolerance of Afghans is tested again, the reaction will be very devastating. He said that Afghanistan does not have long-range missiles or heavy weapons, yet our resolve is very strong. Haqqani said, “Ground defense is a priority for us, but despite this, the path of mutual understanding is open. If someone attacks, we have fought the kings of the world and protecting our land is not a difficult task for us.”
‘Don’t link Pakistan’s problems with Afghanistan’
According to TOLO News report, Haqqani said, “In recent meetings with Pakistan in Qatar and Turkey, it was told that their (Pakistan’s) internal problems should not be linked to Afghanistan. The problem is Pakistan’s. If you have the solution, then why are you linking it with us?”
This comment of Haqqani has come at a time when relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan have deteriorated. Recently there was a clash between Afghanistan and Pakistan. During this, Pakistan claimed that it targeted Kabul, Khost, Jalalabad and Paktika of Afghanistan through air strikes.
Pakistan had also claimed to attack TTP positions. Responding to Pakistan, Taliban opened heavy fire on Span Boldak Chaman border, in which 23 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 29 were injured.
