You can complain about the Inspector or other officers of the police station by going to the Superintendent of Police i.e. SP or Deputy Inspector General of Police i.e. DIG office. You can get your complaint filed in writing. After registering a complaint, take acknowledgment from there.

If senior officials do not listen, complain here

If the Superintendent of Police i.e. Superintendent of Police does not register your complaint. And your plea is not heard even in the DIG office. Then you can knock the door of the court directly. In such a situation, not only the court police will sentence the police officers who assaulted you in custody. Rather, the officers who did not take a noun on your complaint can also punish those officers.

So much punishment can be done

Let us tell you that police officers may be sentenced to 7 years and a fine for forcible confession under Section 73 of the Code of India Code. Apart from this, under Section 74, there is a provision of imprisonment of up to 10 years for serious injuries in police custody. If you have been illegally detained, then there is imprisonment and fine for him for 3 years. Under Section 118, there is a provision of both punishment and fine of up to 5 years for misuse of duty.
