If the Asia Cup is canceled, the Pakistan Cricket Board may have to suffer a lot of loss. Since the Asia Cup was to be hosted in India earlier, but in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting, BCCI agreed to organize the tournament on neutral venue. Indian fans, under the pressure of the opposition, decide to cancel the BCCI Asia Cup, then know how many crores could have been lost to Pakistan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is expecting about 880 crore Pakistani rupees from its share of revenue from ICC and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) this year. In this, he is expected to get $ 25.9 million i.e. around Rs 770 crore from ICC, while PCB expects Rs 116 crore from the Asia Cup. Apart from this, he is expected to earn 77 lakh Pakistani rupees from organizing other international cricket matches.
The amount received from ICC and ACC is very important for the financial situation of Pakistan cricket. In such a situation, if the Asia Cup is canceled, then the Pakistan Cricket Board would have lost 116 crore Pakistani rupees, but it could have affected other ICC events and other programs.
Asia Cup was to be held in India
The Asia Cup was going to host 2025 to India. After the Pahalgam terror attack and operation vermilion, there was less possibility of a cricket match between India and Pakistan. The news of canceling not only India vs Pakistan but the entire Asia Cup tournament was revealed. But after the Asian Cricket Council meeting, BCCI agreed to organize the Asia Cup to get a neutral venue.
