According to reports, in case of de-recognition of a university, the first solution is to adjust the current students in another recognized university. UGC usually makes arrangements for transfer of students to recognized universities of the same state or neighboring states. The academic credits completed by the students are transferred to the new university so that their studies are not interrupted and they do not have to study from the beginning of the course again.
What is the impact on the validity of the degree?
After de-recognition, the degrees of students who have already received a degree generally remain valid. Regulatory bodies take special care that old degrees are not affected in any way, so that the career of the students is not affected. At the same time, students who are in the final year are also usually given a chance to take the examination and complete the degree. This permission is given under special instructions from the UGC or the concerned board, so that years of hard work of the students do not go in vain.
