Elon musk on beclining birth rate: Tesla and SpaceX CEO Alan Musk has once again expressed deep concern about the population crisis. On the social media platform X (first Twitter), Musk wrote, “If this trend continues, the existence of the West will end.”
He did this by reacting to a user’s post. The post claimed that replacement migration is the biggest threat to the West. On this, Musk said that not migration, but the falling birthday is the biggest threat to the West.
Danger bell on America and Europe
Musk clearly stated that the biggest challenge before countries like America and Europe is a decreasing population. According to him, if the birth rate continues to decline, then the existence of Western civilization will be in danger in the coming time. Musk also said that the effect of migration is also serious, but the population crisis can prove to be more disastrous.
‘No overpopulation, underpopulation real crisis’
Alan Musk has already said that the real problem in the world is not an overpopulation, but the underpopulation is a low population. According to him, the continuous decline in birth rate can lead to economic stagnation, lack of workers and the downfall of civilization. Musk had said, “Most people still believe that there is more population in the world, while the truth is completely opposite.”
Countries from Japan to Europe are struggling with this problem
Japan has been struggling with the problem of decreasing population for a long time. Similarly, many countries of South Korea, Italy and Eastern Europe are also facing this crisis. Alan Musk’s warning applies to all these countries. This is the reason that now the discussion on the use of AI and robot has increased to meet the policies, migration improvements and lack of work.
Experts believe that to deal with the declining population, the policies that increase birth rate have to be adopted. Also, to meet the shortage of workers, it is also a neighborhood to resort to new technology and robotics. Alan Musk’s statement is considered to be a direct warning for Western countries to reconsider its policies.
