Before the BMC elections in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde Gut MP Naresh Mhaskay has made a big claim. He has said that the alliance between Shiv Sena (UBT) and Raj Thackeray’s party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) will not affect the possibilities of Mahayuti in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections and the ruling alliance will be victorious.
Talking to reporters on Saturday night, MHSSE said that when Mahayuti is fully prepared for the election fight. In fact, the Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction and the leaders of both MNS have said that both parties will definitely form ‘alliance’ for the upcoming local body elections in Maharashtra, but the final decision is likely to be done when the election comes near.
While Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray has been more vocal about this possible alliance, his cousin and MNS president Raj Thackeray is silent.
‘MVA lost one again in assembly elections’
Naresh Mhaske said that the Shiv Sena (UBT) was in alliance with the Samajwadi Party, Congress and Sharad Pawar -led Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Chandra Pawar), but still Mahayuti won the Lok Sabha and State Assembly elections last year. However, Samajwadi Party was not part of Maha Vikas Aghadi in the state assembly elections.
Both brothers came together on Marathi issue
Significantly, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, who have been separate for many years, came together on the issue of Marathi. After this, it is being speculated that both cousins can come together before BMC elections. However, no official announcement has been made by the Shiv Sena UBT and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena regarding this.
