After family feud and defeat, RJD meeting was held at Tejashwi Yadav’s Polo Road residence in Patna on Monday (17 November). Especially Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi also attended it. During this, Lalu Yadav said that only Tejashwi will take the party forward. The revival of the party has been done by Tejashwi only. Apart from these, no one else.
At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav looked emotional while holding the mic. He said, “Everyone says, fire this one, fire that one, if you fire everyone then who will be left?” Tejashwi was referring to the allegations leveled against close RJD MLCs like Sunil Singh, Sanjay Yadav and Rameez in the past.
We will accept whatever decision is taken – Tejashwi
Former Deputy CM of Bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also said, “We will accept whatever decision you take.” On which Rabri Devi, Misa Bharti and all the MLAs supported Tejashwi and talked about making him the leader of the legislative party.
Rohini accused Tejashwi, Sanjay Yadav and Rameez
After the crushing defeat of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in the Bihar Assembly elections, discord came to the fore in the family of party supremo Lalu Yadav. Lalu Yadav’s daughter Rohini Acharya had announced to break ties with both the family and the party. He had made serious allegations against his brother Tejashwi Yadav as well as Sanjay Yadav and Rameez. He had said that on taking the names of Sanjay Yadav and Rameez, you are thrown out of the house, insulted and abused.
Lalu Prasad Yadav’s daughter Rohini Acharya had written on Instagram, “I am leaving politics and breaking ties with my family. Sanjay Yadav and Rameez asked me to do the same. I am taking all the blame on myself.” Let us tell you that in the assembly elections 2025, the RJD led grand alliance had to face a crushing defeat. This alliance has got a total of 35 seats. RJD got 25 seats. On the other hand, NDA performed brilliantly and won 202 seats.
