After Jalabhishek, offer Belpatra, cannabis, madar flowers, sandalwood, akshat, honey etc. on the Shivling. Keep a 24 -hour fast on this day. Do bhajan kirtan at night.
Do public service on the day of Sawan Shivaratri. Shiva ji is seated in every living being, in such a situation, his service gives fruits like Shiva Sadhana. Donate to the poor, feed food to animals and birds.
