The controversy surrounding Bangladeshi player Shahrukh Khan is not seeming to subside. Meanwhile, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Party spokesperson Asim Waqar has given a sharp reaction. Taking aim at Devkinandan Thakur, he said that if he has courage then he should demand from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to expel Sheikh Hasina from the country.
AIMIM leader Asim Waqar hit back at the controversy over the Bangladeshi player and said, “Devkinandan Thakur is pressurizing Shahrukh Khan to drop the Bangladeshi player from his team. If he has the courage, he should demand from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to expel Sheikh Hasina from the country and close the embassy of Bangladesh.” Asim Waqar challenged him and asked, “Why do you have the courage?”
Devkinandan Thakur called Shahrukh a traitor
Actually, IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Rider team has bought Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman for Rs 9.20 crore. After which the narrator Devkinandan Thakur attacked KKR owner Shahrukh Khan and called him a traitor. He said that citing atrocities on minority Hindus in Bangladesh, he was called a traitor.
Devkinandan Thakur warned Shahrukh Khan that if he did not drop the Bangladeshi cricketer from the KKR team, his team would be boycotted across the country. He will not allow KKR’s match to happen.
Sangeet Som also targeted
On the other hand, former BJP MLA Sangeet Som also questioned Shahrukh Khan on buying Bangladeshi players and called it an anti-national activity. Sangeet Som called them traitors and said that such people do not deserve to live in the country. Anti-national forces are being encouraged in the country only through Bollywood and cricket.
