Ravi Shankar Prasad Attacked Rahul Gandhi: BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad has retaliated on the statements made during the recent visit of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha during the recent visit to Columbia. He said that it would have been good if Rahul Gandhi would have given wishes to the people of India on an auspicious occasion like Vijayadashami, but he is attacking the country.
He alleged that “Rahul Gandhi also makes baseless allegations against the country and Prime Minister Modi in India and also repeat the same abroad.” Prasad said that Rahul Gandhi said in Colombia that there is no democracy in India and people do not have the freedom to speak.

The BJP MP said, “If a person abuses the development of the country, BJP and Prime Minister Modi with the most freedom, then he is no right to speak against the country. They talk baseless things both in India and abroad. If you insult India abroad, then understand that you will not get the seats you get in the country. We strongly condemn their statement.”

He said that there are many religions, traditions and languages in India and democracy gives them all a place, but at present, democracy is being attacked everywhere in India.
In response to a question asked on India’s global role, Rahul Gandhi said that India has immense possibilities in a population of 1.4 billion, but India’s structure is completely different from China. China is a centralized and uniform system country, while India is a complex country with diverse languages, cultures, traditions and religions.
‘Widespread attack on democracy in India’
The Congress MP said that India can give a lot to the world and it is very optimistic about it. But he also added that there are many shortcomings and risks in the Indian structure, which needs to be overcome. He clearly stated that the biggest risk is the attack on democracy.
Rahul Gandhi said that India is the center of dialogue between all its people. Various traditions, religions and ideas require a place and the best way to make it is a democratic system. But at this time there is a widespread attack on the democratic system in India. Addressing engineering students, he said that India is a neighbor of China and a close partner of America. India stands in a place where forces are colliding with each other.
