Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi gave a strong message to Pakistan on Friday (03 October). Addressing the soldiers near the Pakistan border in Anupgarh in Sriganganagar district of Rajasthan, he said that if Pakistan does not stop supporting terrorism, it will have to disappear from the world map. He warned that India will no longer adopt a policy of restraint as before and any provocation will be responded immediately.

General Dwivedi gave this address after a visit to Ghatsana area. This area is in front of Bahawalpur in Pakistan, where the Indian Army took major action on terrorist bases during Operation Sindoor. The operation was launched after the Pahalgam terror attack on 22 April.

More than 100 Pakistani soldiers and many terrorists killed

The army chief revealed that in this operation, 9 terrorist hideouts in Pakistan were completely demolished. Training camps, arms supply networks and masterminds were hidden in these locations. He said that more than 100 Pakistani soldiers and a large number of terrorists were killed in this action. He also clarified that India took full accuracy in its attacks and took full care of the citizens not to harm them. He said, “India targeted only terrorist bases and their masterminds, saving citizens from some kind of damage.”

General Dwivedi called upon the soldiers to be cautious and ready at all times. He said, “Keep your preparation complete … If God wanted, you will get a chance soon.” He emphasized the modernization and technical progress of the army. He said that the Indian Army is rapidly adopting state-of-the-art technology, unmanned air systems (UAVs) and anti-drain capabilities to face future challenges.

Three brave soldiers honored

On this occasion, the army chief honored three brave soldiers- Commandant Prabhakar Singh, Major Ritesh Kumar and Havildar Mohit Gara, who made outstanding contribution to Operation Sindoor. Apart from this, he also visited Bikaner military stations and other advance areas. After meeting the people of the villages along the border, he said, “You are not a common citizen, but soldiers who are equal partners in the security of the country.”
