ILT20 2025: The fourth season schedule of the International League T20 (ILT20) has been released. This time the tournament will start from 2 December 2025 and will be played till 4 January 2026. The league will begin with a high-voltage match, in which defending champions Dubai Capitals will face desert wipers. The match will be remat of the final of the previous season and will be played at Dubai International Stadium.
A total of 34 matches, 6 teams will clash for the title
This time in ILT20, 6 teams will also field for the title. Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, Desert Wipers, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriors. There will be a total of 34 matches in the tournament, including 30 league stage and 4 playoffs.
Eliminator and finals will be played in Dubai
Qualifier-1 in Abu Dhabi and
Qualifier-2 will be held in Sharjah.
The matches will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.

This time the South Africa’s SA20 League will be in comparison to the ILT20, as the SA20 will begin from December 26. The big challenge will be that many foreign players are common in both the leagues. Now it will be seen to see which league players prefer and which teams can remove their best XI.
Ashwin expected to return
Indian cricket veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also recently showed interest in playing in this league. He has recently retired from International Cricket and IPL. Due to this, Ashwin is now considered ready to start a new innings in the Global T20 Leagues. There are reports that Ashwin has considered writing his name for the ILT20 auction. If everything is fixed then fans can see them playing in this league.
Apart from this, Ashwin is also talking to Cricket Australia to join Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL). If he plays in both the leagues, then it will be a new chapter of his career.
