The Government of India has recently reduced GST from 28% to 18% on two-wheelers. The direct benefit of this decision is now going to be available to customers. Yamaha Motor IYM Pvt. Ltd. has announced that his entire bike and scooter range will be available at new low prices from 22 September 2025. This step before festivals is no less than a big gift for customers.
Yamaha’s new price and savings
- The company has made it clear that all popular models like Rayzr, FZ, MT15, Aerox 155 and R15 will now be available at low prices. This means that customers will directly benefit from savings on every variant. The new price list will make the shopping of festivals more special.

- Yamaha India Group Chairman Itaru Otani said that this step has been taken completely to benefit the customers. He said, “Thanks to the Government of India, who reduced the GST on two-wheelers at the right time. We are proud that we are directly transporting this advantage to our customers.”
Effect on two-wheeler industry
- Actually, the impact of this step will not be limited only to Yamaha, but the speed will increase in the entire two-wheeler industry. People will be able to buy their favorite bike or scooter easily during festivals. The footfall at the dealerships will increase and especially the demand for premium models like R15 and Aerox 155 is expected to increase further.
