PTI workers started emergency demonstrations in Rawalpindi, Peshawar and many cities.
Amidst the increasing pressure of rumours, the jail administration had to issue an official statement. Officials say that Imran Khan is completely healthy in jail and there is no threat to his safety. The administration also clarified that Imran has not been taken to any other place and the news circulating on social media is completely fabricated.
PTI’s allegation
Despite the statement of the jail administration, PTI leaders claim that Imran Khan has been secretly shifted to some other place. He says that for many days neither the family is being allowed inside nor the lawyers are being allowed to meet him. For this reason, a big rally has been organized in Peshawar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced to meet Imran.
Bushra Bibi’s old allegations behind spreading rumors
The allegations made earlier by Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi are also being held responsible for making the atmosphere more tense. After coming out of jail, he had said that a plan was made to poison Imran Khan and Army Chief Asim Munir wanted to eliminate him. These statements had already created deep doubts in the minds of people, due to which this rumor spread very fast.
Why is the government silent? Questions are increasing in people’s minds
Imran Khan’s supporters are constantly asking that if he is healthy then why is there a ban on meetings. The silence of the government and the army on what is happening inside the jail has further deepened the doubts of PTI supporters. Due to the long standing conflict between Imran and Army Chief Asim Munir, people are watching the incidents from a political perspective.

Imran Khan’s arrest, court case, conflict with the army and now rumors of death have destabilized Pakistan’s politics.
